The 4th Annual “Take Note” & Winona Brass Band” concert will be held Sunday evening, Dec 7 at 7:00 pm at the Rushford Lutheran Church . Refreshments will be served following the concert. A freewill offering will be taken to defray the expenses.

Take Note was formed Autumn of 2006 , with funding from RASA and a grant from the SEMAC. The choir is under the direction of Judy Myers, associate professor at St. Mary's University of Winona.

The choir consists of singers from all over the area, Preston, Lewiston, Winona, Caledonia, Rushford and Peterson who love to sing and perform. Their songs consist almost entirely of Broadway Show Tunes. They practice Tuesday evenings in the Rushford-Peterson Band Room. They don't meet during late December-early January or during the Summer. They present a Spring Concert and a Christmas Concert and are available to sing for your celebration or event upon request and approval.
