COMMUNITY THEATER The musical production of “HONK” was a great success. Many new faces appeared on stage and in the wings. Summer 2010, The play “ Lie, Cheat, and Genuflect” will be performed July 14, 15,& 16 at 7:00 pm and 17 & 18 at 2:00 pm at the Rushford Peterson High School Theater. Tickets will be available at Rushford Foods for $9.00 and at the door ( If available) for $12. |
CHILDREN'S THEATER Auditions will be held at the R-P High School Theater , Monday Oct 12 from 3:30 pm until 5:30 pm. Some selected chosen parts will need to stay longer for some preliminary rehearsal. A week long practice will culminate in three performances, Friday Oct.16th at 7:30pm, and Saturday Oct 17th at 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm. in the high school theater. Tickets are $ 7.00 for adults and $4.00 for children and will be available at rehearsals, and from Rushford Foods in Rushford the week of the play. If there are tickets available at showtime, they will be on sale at the door. The Prairie Fire Children’s Theater is sponsored by Rushford Area Society for the Arts . TAKE NOTE & WINONA BRASS BAND CHRISTMAS CONCERT Celebrate the holidays with the Winona Brass Band and Take Note Show tune choir. It’s live brass music in combination with a show choir. Dr. Richard Lindner and Judy Myers will be directing the concert of favorite Christmas melodies. Join us at Rushford Lutheran Church on Sunday evening, December 6 at 7:00 pm. There will be a free will offering and refreshments will follow the concert. |
